Newborn Care Class

There are lots of questions that parents-to-be have when it comes to newborns and how to care for them. Several clients had shared that they felt ill-prepared for what to do with a new human when it came time to be discharged from the hospital or after everyone left after a homebirth delivery. People would say things like “They're just gonna send me home with this new person… without taking a class or getting certified… or something?!” I get it. It’s a lot of responsibility and I don’t feel like our society does the best job realistically preparing families for life with a new babe in the home.
