WHERE I STAND RE: ROE V. WADE BEING OVERTURNED

I’ve been thinking about this a lot.

My thoughts aren’t going to be as crystal clear as I’d like, but I’m starting to think that where this topic is concerned, there’s very little thought that is crystal clear, well-articulated, all tied up nice with a bow.

The conversation around abortions - to have em or not to, to support em or not to, to even discuss em or not to, is messy. Always has been, always will be. I don’t mind a mess. In fact, sometimes I think I seek it out. But right now, I feel more like I’m stuck in the middle of it without a clear way out of, around, or through it.

The day of the decision I was listening to one of my favorite podcasts, The Period Party hosted by the phenomenal Nicole Jardim and interestingly enough, there were so many themes within that episode that paralelled with the abortion conversation.
